Themed "promoting mutual leaning and exchanges among Asian civilizations through Film and TV", the Asian Film and TV Week comprises Launch Ceremony, Masters in Conversation, Asian Film Week 2019 and Broadcasting of TV Programs.

Asian Film Week 2019 will showcase 60 selected Asian films from 30 Asian countries in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Xi'an.

There will also be such side events as Film Producers’ Forum and BFA Film Saloon. Masters in Conversation will be held to discuss the role and significance of Asian films in promoting cultural inheritance, mutual learning among civilizations and people-to-people bond.

More than 50 mainstream media organizations of over 20 countries including China, Japan, India, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Mongolia, Kazakhstan will air over 80 excellent documentaries, TV dramas, animated series, films and feature programs on both traditional and new media platforms.

With the joint endeavor of all participants, a visual feast will be presented with rich content translated into the mother languages of the audience, to showcase the fusion, development and unique charm of Asian civilizations.
