With the theme of seeking harmony in the culture of Asian cuisines, Gourmet Hangzhou Asian Food Festival will hold a series of exhibitions featuring special Asian food, food culture, local Hangzhou delicacies and tableware.

The food festival aims to showcase the unique charm of the Hangzhou cuisine and culture, helping to make the city a truly global gourmet metropolis, and further promote cultural exchanges between China and the rest of Asia.

During the festival, a multitude of forums with various themes will be held, such as "Asian food and human civilization forum", and dialogue forums focusing on tea culture, digit and food, as well as food and elegant life.

Besides, a series of cultural activities centering around the 19th Asian Games to be held in Hangzhou in 2022 will also be staged.

Visitors and participants from around the world will be able to get "A bite of Hangzhou" and visit featured attractions such as the Ruins of Liangzhu Culture dated back to more than 5,000 years ago, China National Tea Museum, Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Kiln Museum and the Longjing Village Tea Plantations.

Themed travelling routes will also be arranged to enhance participants and visitors' understanding about the Hangzhou food culture and the Chinese civilizations.
